Personal Space? Never heard of it!

I was arguing with my Mother as she questioned why I was trying to “Capitalize on the whole gay thing when it’s wrong,” regarding my college essays and why I didn’t want her to read them (She went on to how I never respected her). Then my ten year old sister said “God accepts all people.” To which my Mother flatly said “No He doesn’t.”

I was filled with mixed feelings of happiness and anger. Such an odd thing to have over sushi…

My boyfriend gave me a key to his apartment. What’s even better is that it was his mom’s idea.

You don’t know how happy this makes me.

I spent it on the phone with my boyfriend, wishing that we would be together for as long as we lived.

I’m such a sap.

Granted that the date was 2 days ago on Thursday, but I’ve been wanting to make a post about it!

So earlier in the week, Carlos asked what day I was free. I tell him Thursday. He says he has a surprise for me, and that he needs me free all morning. Ooooh a surprise. Me Gusta. I tell my mom I have some Key Club event to attend as an excuse. 

Thursday rolls along and I roll myself out of bed. I drive to the school as a cover up and he meets me at 9 AM. We get into his car and he starts driving me off to Poway Lake. I’ve never been treated to something like this so it was all exciting and fun, despite my sleep deprivation. We get to Poway Lake and barely anyone is there, so we could be ourselves together without any judgmental looks or remarks from people. On the giant hill under the shade of a tree, he pulls out this food bag thing and inside were two Subway sandwiches, Capri Sun, cookies and muffins. We were finally getting that Romantic picnic that we put on our Summer To-Do list. He was so cute, especially when he said how he didn’t know what the fuck a picnic was and had to ask the checkout girl at Ralphs what you need to buy xD. 

He was more sleep deprived than I was, so he just passed out on the grass and we actually took a nap. I just loved being close to Carlos. I never wanted to feel needy, but he did something to me where I can’t imagine my life without him » oh damn him. 

He hates pictures of himself, so of course I took a bunch of pictures with my ipod of him while he was asleep. He was like this giant bear hugging the picnic food bag. It was like a latino Yogi Bear taking a nap after snatching the picnic basket from some unsuspecting couple :P. After the nap, he pulled me into the park bathroom and we had sex he said that we just HAD to do something. On the other side of the hill, facing the lake, it was pretty steep and long. He said that we had to just roll down the hill. He’s such a little kid. We starting rolling down the hill and he runs into a tree. Typical Carlos. He keeps getting hurt by trees for some reason. Oh well. So it was about 10:45 and I asked him what are we doing next. He was like “I only planned the picnic part, that was hard enough for me” xD Oh Carlos. 

Now it was my part of the date. I told him to drive to Old Poway. There weren’t that many people there also so it was really nice :) We walked along the railway tracks, pushing each other off and just running around. The park area is so nice. Trees covering the sky, making it a sort of forest. Just walking through it holding hands with him was so nice. I love him so much, all I need to do is just be with him to enjoy myself.

Then I got hungry, what’s new :P We ate lunch at the Hamburger Factory where he proved to me that he was a little kid again. On his pickle slices, he made happy faces on the pickle slices. After lunch, he also found a stick and wanted to take it home to play with it xD That’s probably a big reason why I love him so much, for his kid-like nature. 

All in all, it was an amazing date. Despite all my jokings, I thought it was very romantic :) I’m glad he’s my boyfriend.
